About Teresa

Teresa is a lifelong resident of Gahanna, Ohio, graduating from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 1973. She went on to Capital University to study Music  where she majored in clarinet.

She played clarinet in the Rockwell Community band for many years. Her musical background included giving private clarinet lessons to several students, being a member of the Columbus Youth Wind Ensemble, playing in a hand bell choir at a church, arranging clarinet music and playing in a clarinet quartet in church.

In 1983 she had a burning passion to go into real estate to help others fulfill their dreams of homeownership. She attended Columbus State University for two years, majoring in Real Estate Marketing/Management. She earned the prestigious GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) designation in only 3 months after being licensed. She has performed award winning sales and has continued her education throughout her career.

For over 27 years, Teresa has helped folks buy and sell homes all around Central Ohio.

Teresa has also gained much experience in the new home building industry. She has worked as a Sales Rep for home builders in Central Ohio and has represented many homebuyers as a Realtor®. Her own father was a custom builder in the Gahanna area.

Teresa has played an active role in the real estate industry. She has a solid background in residential real estate, home financing and home construction. Teresa has served on several committees with the Columbus Board of Realtors®. including Governmental Affairs, Builder/Realtor Alliance and Tech Users Group.

Teresa currently resides in Hensel Woods in Gahanna and enjoys gardening, cooking and painting in her spare time. She especially enjoys oil and water color painting and has won awards for her work and has sold many paintings. She also donates paintings to various charities. She recently has discovered an interest in photography and is enjoying shooting local sites and real estate photography.

Teresa has been active in church throughout her life. She taught kindergarten Sunday School for a total of 10 years, helped set up Vacation Bible School, helped with children's plays, performed music, and has actively participated in many other groups and programs.
